We also encourage you to join the American Daylily Society at the National Level!

Daylilies have been in our landscapes and in our healing communities for centuries. You might think you know what there is to know about our frequently-seen friend; but, with more than 100,000 registered named cultivars (cultivated varieties) and hundreds of hybridizers working on its modern form, there is more and more to experience each year.

We hope you might find some inspiration here and decide to join us on a fun gardening journey as a member of the Tallahassee Daylily Society (TDS) and the American Daylily Society (ADS).

Included with your American Daylily Society (also known as the American Hemerocallis Society) membership, you will receive four beautiful issues of The Daylily Journal, our official newsletter magazine, each year. This magazine contains articles on award-winning daylilies, the most popular daylilies by geography, trends in daylily hybridizing, scientific studies, and highlights of gardens and conventions.

Meetings

Monthly meetings are usually held on the 4th Sunday of each month beginning at 2:00 PM at UF/IFAS Leon County Extension, 615 Paul Russell Road, Tallahassee, FL 32301.

Some meetings will be at Members' homes to visit their gardens.
